Recently Hope Leadership sponsored an absolutely incredible City2Surf event at 15th Street in Del Mar! Gary Giffin, one of AARE’s agents loves to support their work and to participate. This event had over 60 students, many who couldn’t swim but wanted to learn to surf. Hope Leadership Academy (HLA)is a comprehensive year round youth ministry that seeks to ensure that youth from fatherless homes in underserved communities receive support, guidance and a plan to break the cycles of divorce, poverty and hopelessness.
